Arthur R. Kerr II
Arthur R. Kerr II, a partner, concentrates his practice in international and domestic taxation, business law, contracts, and real estate.
Arthur’s tax practice includes offshore and onshore planning and compliance for businesses and individuals, civil and criminal examinations and audits, collection matters, workouts, and tax controversies. He has extensive experience representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service and various state tax authorities.
His business practice includes planning and structuring business entities, business acquisitions and reorganizations, drafting and negotiating contracts, and advising clients with ongoing operations. Arthur also works with several non-profit and charitable organizations on their tax and legal matters. He works on a variety of real estate matters including purchases and sales of commercial and residential properties, leases, and tax free exchanges.
Arthur is a graduate of Boston University (BA 1983), Suffolk University Law School (JD 1988), and the Boston University School of Law (LLM in Taxation 1997). He is a member of the bars of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States Tax Court, the United States Federal District Court of Massachusetts, and the United States Supreme Court.
