Ada K. Colomb
Ada K. Colomb, an associate, practices in the areas of estate planning, asset protection, estate administration, tax planning, and related real estate issues. Ada emphasizes a practical and personalized approach in helping clients address their needs.
Ada received her Bachelor’s (2010) and Master’s degrees (2012), with honors, from the top-ranked Taras Shevchenko University, Faculty of Law, in Ukraine; studied EU and Civil Law at Hamburg University Law School in Germany (exchange semester); and received an LL.M. degree in commercial law from Boston College Law School (2014).
Ada dedicated her Master’s thesis and additional extended research at the Max Planck Institute in Germany to the enforcement of privately settled rules (e.g., trusts, private foundations, closely held and transnational corporations, professional associations). The results were also published in a law review article in Munich in 2013, and presented at a conference at McGill University Law School in 2014. This scholarly interest ignited Ada’s passion for effective estate planning.
Ada is fluent in German, Russian, and Ukrainian. She was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2016 and is an active member of the Boston Estate Planning Council (BEPC), Real Estate Bar Association (T&E Section), Trusts & Estates Consortium, and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
