August 2022 Newsletter
This is just a reminder to send the Electronic Filing forms back to us via ShareFile for returns that were completed after the April deadline. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any issues accessing your ShareFile account, or if you’d like us to set one up for you.
Third Quarter estimated tax payments are due on September 15. Please reach out to your tax professional if you need assistance preparing these estimates.
Wishing you the most peaceful of summers so far.
June 2022 Newsletter
Thank you for another successful tax season! We hope you had a lovely Memorial Day weekend and have some necessary downtime planned for you and yours this summer.
We are well on our way with preparing tax returns that have been extended. Please continue to submit any necessary documents via a scanned PDF into Sharefile, our secure system, as opposed to via email. Photos of documents end up slowing down the processing of returns.
Second Quarter estimated income tax payments for 2022 are due on June 15th. Please reach out to your attorney if you need help preparing these estimates or reviewing your 2022 income.
As we move past the tax filing deadline, don’t forget to revisit your estate planning. If you have not reviewed your plan recently, please do not hesitate to contact one of our estate planning attorneys or your current tax attorney. Estate plans should be updated every three to five years.
Wishing you a happy and healthy summer!
April 2022 Newsletter
Tax season is moving right along. All individual returns should be filed or extended by Monday April 18th. If you are living in Maine or Massachusetts, your federal and state deadline is April 19th.
Please be sure to return any e-file authorization forms by Saturday, April 16th. All electronically filed tax returns will need a signed e-file authorization. Any federal extension that includes an electronic debit will also require an e-file authorization. Electronic payments will not process until April 18th.
We will send an email confirmation when your electronically filed return has been accepted by the IRS. Please be patient on these confirmations particularly if returning a form in the last few days before the deadline.
We are currently not holding meetings with clients in our office, but any forms can be dropped off outside our door. We will update you if anything changes regarding our meeting policy.
Wishing you the best of health and a happy spring.

Tax season is in full swing. All individual returns should be filed or extended by Monday April 18th. If you are living in Maine or Massachusetts, your deadline is April 19th. As your documents and materials come in, please send them our way. As you can imagine, it is beneficial for us to get on the front foot of these things. If submitting electronically, please sign into your secure portal with ShareFile. If you do not have a ShareFile portal set up and would like one, please reach out to us directly. Submitting documents to ShareFile in a scanned PDF format is preferred.
We are currently not holding meetings with clients in our office, but we do have access to a spacious atrium area on the second floor of our building for any necessary proceedings. We will update you if anything changes regarding our meeting policy.
Wishing you the best of health.
