Melissa E. Sydney, an associate, practices in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, and international and domestic taxation. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sydney interned at the Securities and Exchange Commission and worked as a legal assistant in the Paris office of Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP. Ms. Sydney is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University (B.A., 2001), Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D., 2006), and Boston University School of Law (LL.M. in Taxation, 2007). She also completed a year of study at Oxford University. Ms. Sydney is admitted to both the Massachusetts and New York bars. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, and the Boston Estate Planning Counsel. Ms. Sydney also speaks French fluently and is proficient in American Sign Language and Hebrew.
